Burger Up!

Burger Up is one of the new establish
fast food chain made in Singapore!

Although at first glance i didn't really want to have my dinner there. However, one of  my classmates recommend me this store so i decided to give it a try!

At first, I thought i had to made my order at the front counter but no, i have to customise and create my meal on this interactive screen

After which i will then proceed to make payment at the counter where they will then give out queue number for you to collect your burgers. They do sell rice meal, but i didn't got the chance to try it..

This regular set cost me S$9 :O

My friends burger (Sean's)

Beef + Chicken Patties

He complained that they should arrange his burger nicely haha! Cost him S$8.90.

I will come back next time to try out their rice set, hopefully they won't let me down.

So do i prefer Macdonald's DIY burger to this? Can't really comment much, both companies have their unique taste.

O'ma Spoon Korean Dessert

Wondering where to stop by for a bowl of dessert after your meal?

Well, i recommend O'ma Spoon Korean Dessert restaurant to solve your cravings.

Located at Marina Square Shopping Centre and 313 @ Somerset

They serves Bingsu, Honey butter bread, coffee and cakes. Its like a dessert cafe :)

Bingsu has been a favourite food to eat in the blistering hot Korean summer, and it is shaved ice-based dessert loaded with real fruit toppings and natural ingredients directly imported from korea. O'ma spoon Bingsu is unique and healthier than any other summer treats. Their Bingsu is made of FRESH MILK, NOT ICE! It's not only great tasting but they are good for your health and beauty. They uses a special kind of machine different from what you see when you order your "Ice-Kacang" to do the ice shavings.

So i've ordered the 2 regular size shared it amongst 4 of my friends and we still couldn't finish it. (On the left is the Oreo flavour and the right is Green Tea Bingsu.)

Their Bingsu comes in different servings, the small serving

Medium servings as mentioned above and also OMG (Large) below, where u can choose 3 different toppings.

The huge pile of light-as-air shaved ice, tasted sweet, creamy, crunchy and chewy at the same time

Avg per pax S$6

Chinese New Year Reunion 2016

HEYYY EVERYONE!! My name is Terence and I will be posting food related articles, the good, the bad and latest food craze on this tiny island! (People keep asking why do i help them do free advertisement, actually im doing it for personal interest and i can say its a "healthy" hobby)

Its been decades since i last wrote my last food post since i've entered poly. Its been a hectic 2 years of intense studying, projects and also CCAs commitment. And if you have any food recommendation/suggestions for me do let me know ;) (also take feedbacks too for continuous improvements!)

I will try to post as often as i can, as you know eating good food also needs $KaChing$ right? Haha! ^^

So coming back to my first food article of 2016, it will be related to Chinese New Year! It is a yearly tradition for Chinese families to get together and have a reunion dinner be it at home or in restaurants.

Common reunion dinner dishes includes steamboat, yusheng, abalone, Buddha Jumps Over the wall. These dishes have different significance which elders belief.

Well, my family isn't those traditional kind so we decided to go for an Indonesian-Thai restaurant called Bumbu Restaurant located at Kandahar street near Arab street:) We booked 2 days in advance as we do expect a big turn out for families to have their reunion dinner here.

This is the outside view of the restaurant

The internal decoration is pretty unique with antiques paintings which brings you back to the olden days of Singapore.

Special mention to the Coffee Flavoured Chicken! (Seen in the middle of the table) Rich coffee aroma and it taste really good! We had ordered Sambal kangkong, Fried Cereal Prawns, Beef was too salty not really good

Signature Tomyum seafood soup :P - Bursting with flavours, opens up our appetite

Fresh water fish

Sweet Chendol (dessert) to end off the meal

Really good service
I rate it 3.5/5
Cost S$33 per pax
