So if you're one of Temasek Poly students reading this article, i've got good news that if you are ever tired of peak lunch crowd in school or the food there itself, do make your way down to this coffeeshop to have a taste of this popular chinese cuisine. Eventhough the queue is always long, its worth queueing for!
So what is kwaychap? Its actually a pork dish that includes different parts of the pig organs and meat, such as the pig skin, pig meat, pig small/large intestine, pig stomach, taupok, eggs and tofu all being boiled into their special dark sauce.
It may sound or even looks gross even before you try it. However, if your a pork lover eater, do give it a try and you have no regrets. Anyway what is kwaychap without the "kway"? The "kway" they sold here are cooked to perfection.
And i wouldnt recommend you to take out, but to have this in the coffeeshop.
So this is what i've ordered: pork intestines , skins and stomach!
Notice i didnt ordered the "kway" cause it wont be "full" for me ^^
Dipping these meat into their special chilli makes the whole dish taste even better!
Not only do they sell kwaychap, they also sell pig organ soup which is always sold out :O
This is not the only kwaychap stall in this vicinity, however theres another kwaychap stall right opposite of it! And guess what? The other kwaychap stall is run by the owner's son! This shows how good their food is!
Avg per pax $5.50
