Dirty Duck Diner @ The Ubud Building

Bebek Begil serves one of the best crispy duck and crispy chicken rice I've ever had in my life! This restaurant was originated from Bali, Indonesia and they opened one of their third restaurants here in Jakarta.

My aunt brought us here to try and i must say this restaurant swept me off my feet!

I've ordered the crispy chicken rice because they serve special nasi kunyit* (indonesia for: tumeric rice cook with coconut) which make the rice really fragrant and appetising. Nevertheless i shared the trademark dish (didn't manage to take a pic) with my mom which was the crispy duck and it tasted heavenly!

Before our food was serve, the waitress serves us their signature appertizer and  *belachan (spicy chilly)

This is the belachan! It literally goes well with anything! Its so good that many customer will buy a jar of it home.

This is what i had: The Crispy half chicken with yellow rice! It was tender, succulent and flavourful with a crackly-crisp skin.

And yes its highly recommend to visit this restaurant if your here in Jakarta and I will definitely visit here once again!
